Terms and conditions
By registering for, attending, or participating in any programme, workshop, training, incubation activity, or event conducted by K-AgTech LaunchPad, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
Participation
Participation in programmes conducted by K-AgTech LaunchPad is entirely voluntary. By registering, you confirm that all information provided by you is accurate, complete, and truthful to the best of your knowledge. You agree to follow all instructions, guidelines, and directions issued by the organisers, coordinators, faculty members, mentors, or authorised personnel during the programme.
Registration and identification
Programme registrations are strictly non-transferable. Participants may be required to produce a valid government-issued photo identity card, such as Aadhaar, Passport, PAN, Driving Licence, Voter ID, or any other recognised government ID, for verification purposes. Failure to provide valid identification may result in denial of participation without entitlement to any refund.
Conduct and responsibility
Participants are expected to maintain professional conduct, discipline, and decorum throughout the programme. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or in violation of institutional norms may result in removal from the programme at the discretion of the organisers. Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings during the programme or while present at the venue.
Health, safety, and liability
Participation in programmes is at the participant’s own risk. K-AgTech LaunchPad shall not be held responsible for any injury, loss, damage, or accident sustained during the programme or at the venue, except to the extent required by applicable law. Participants are advised to take necessary personal and health-related precautions.
Programme modifications or cancellation
K-AgTech LaunchPad reserves the right to modify, reschedule, postpone, or cancel any programme, session, or activity due to administrative reasons, unforeseen circumstances, or factors beyond reasonable control. Any such changes will be communicated through appropriate channels wherever practicable.
Intellectual property and media consent
Participants grant K-AgTech LaunchPad the irrevocable right to capture photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings during programmes or events. Such content may be used for documentation, reporting, academic, promotional, or outreach purposes in print, digital, or electronic media without further consent or compensation. Intellectual property related to programme content, presentations, or materials remains with the respective owners unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Refund and cancellation policy
Registration fees
Refund eligibility, if any, shall be governed by the specific terms mentioned at the time of registration for each programme. Certain programmes, including subsidised, academic, or capacity-building initiatives, may be non-refundable.
Cancellation by participant
Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing within the time period specified in the programme announcement. Approved refunds, if applicable, may be subject to administrative or processing charges.
Cancellation or modification by organisers
In the event of cancellation or significant modification of a programme by K-AgTech LaunchPad, registered participants may be eligible for a refund or for transfer of registration to a rescheduled programme, as determined by the organisers. K-AgTech LaunchPad shall not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by participants, including travel or accommodation costs.
Force majeure
No refunds shall be claimed for cancellations, postponements, or disruptions resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public emergencies, government regulations, or technical failures.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with programmes conducted by K-AgTech LaunchPad shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
Acceptance
By registering for or participating in any programme conducted by K-AgTech LaunchPad, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions and the refund and cancellation policy.
